Bird photography by Sandra Palme

I love birds and birding and always take my camera (a Canon 7D Mk2 + 400mm lens). I try to take at least a record shot of every species of bird I get to see. It's always great to see a 'new' bird but I'm quite happy to watch a little dunnock. No bird is plain or dull. My photos are memories of times spent watching my feathered friends but I do like sharing them. Some of my photos have been published on websites, in magazines, books, calendars and in the Sussex Ornithological Society bird reports and newsletter (see: Publications ).

I hope you'll enjoy your visit to my BRITISH BIRD GALLERIES, which includes an alphabetical list of all the species
(BIRDS A-Z) that I have photographed so far, and will keep coming back as I add NEW BIRD PHOTOS regularly.

Here are a few of my many many favourite photos - please click on the thumbnail to see a larger version.
